D.1 What’s New in Version 1.4 (January 2026)

1. Multiple Smart Objects Support

The plugin now supports PSD templates with multiple smart objects, allowing for more complex mockup designs.

What This Means:

• Templates can contain multiple design placement areas

• Showcase products with multiple sizes in the same mockup

How It Works:

• Bulk Made automatically detects all smart objects in a template

• Processes each smart object with the same design

• Maintains consistent settings across all smart objects

• No additional setup required

Use Cases:

• Mugs with designs on both sides

• Boxes with designs on multiple panels

• Products with matching design elements

• Multi-surface mockups

💡Pro Tip: Ensure all smart objects in a template are sized appropriately for the design. The same resize mode applies to all smart objects.

2. PNG Output Format

You can now export mockups as PNG files in addition to JPG.

What This Means:

• Choose between JPG or PNG output before processing

• PNG supports transparency (though not typically needed for mockups)

• PNG files are larger but maintain maximum quality

• Flexibility for different workflow requirements

How to Use:

• Select output format via radio buttons before clicking “Process All Combinations”

• JPG (recommended): Smaller files (2–5 MB), faster processing, universal compatibility

• PNG: Larger files (10–20 MB), maximum quality, supports transparency

When to Use PNG:

• Your workflow requires PNG format

• File size is not a concern

• You want absolute maximum quality

When to Use JPG:

• For online stores (Etsy, Shopify, Amazon)

• For social media posts

• For email attachments

• For most standard use cases

💡 Pro Tip: JPG is recommended for 95% of use cases. PNG is best reserved for specialized workflows or when further editing is required.

How to Update

If you’re already subscribed:

5. Double-click the new .ccx file to install

6. Restart Photoshop

7. Open Bulk Made from Window > Extensions
