Subscription Plans

Overview of Standard and Pro plans, features, pricing, and how to choose the right plan

Understanding Your Subscription Options

Understanding your subscription options helps you choose the right plan for your business and get the most value from the Bulk Made plugin. This section explains the differences between Standard and Pro plans, what features are included, and how to choose the right plan for your needs.

3.1 Overview of Plans

Bulk Made offers two subscription tiers designed to meet different mockup generation needs:

  • Standard Plan: Unlimited mockup generation with automatic design placement
  • Pro Plan: Everything in Standard, plus realistic engraving and print effects for professional-quality mockups

Both plans include 50% discount on all mockup template purchases from the Bulk Made Studio marketplace.

3.2 Standard Plan Features

  • ✅ Use any PSD template – Works with Bulk Made templates or your own custom templates (containing a smart object)
  • ✅ Automatic design placement – Smart object technology places your designs accurately
  • ✅ Automatic distortion – Designs adapt to product shapes and perspectives
  • ✅ Batch processing – Process multiple designs across multiple templates simultaneously
  • ✅ All resize modes – Fit, Fill, Stretch, and No Resize options available
  • ✅ 50% discount on mockup purchases – Save on all Bulk Made Studio mockup template purchases

  • ❌ No print effects – No substrate-specific color adjustments or opacity effects
  • ❌ Processing Types locked – Pro processing options appear grayed out in the plugin

Best For

  • Businesses selling digitally printed products without special effects
  • Users who need simple, clean design placement
  • Testing the plugin before committing to Pro
  • Products where realistic material effects aren't critical

Example Use Cases

  • Digital print-on-demand products (t-shirts, posters, stickers)
  • Simple product mockups for web listings
  • Testing designs before investing in Pro features
  • Products where the design is the focus, not the material texture

3.3 Pro Plan Features

What's Included

Everything in Standard, plus:

✅ Engraving effects for multiple substrates:

  • Wood engraving (multiple depth and burn settings)
  • Slate engraving (etched stone effects)
  • Glass engraving (frosted glass effects)
  • Additional substrates with realistic depth, shadows, and highlights

✅ Print effects for various printing methods:

  • UV printing on white substrates

  • UV printing on wood (two variations for different wood tones)

  • Sublimation printing (vibrant color transfer effects)

  • Substrate-specific color accuracy and opacity

  • ✅ Multiple settings per effect – Test different intensities to match your actual production equipment

  • ✅ Realistic mockups – Mockups that accurately represent the finished product your customer will receive

  • ✅ Professional quality – Build customer trust with accurate product representations

  • ✅ 50% discount on mockup purchases – Save on all Bulk Made Studio mockup template purchases

Why Realistic Effects Matter

The Problem with Generic Mockups:

  • Flat designs don't show how engraving actually looks on wood, slate, or glass
  • Print colors appear different on various substrates
  • Customers expect the product to match the listing photo
  • Unrealistic mockups lead to disappointed customers and returns

The Pro Solution:

  • Engraving effects show realistic depth, burn marks, and material texture
  • Print effects adjust colors and opacity to match how ink interacts with each substrate
  • Mockups are 100% accurate to the finished product
  • Customers know exactly what they're getting
  • Fewer returns, higher satisfaction, better reviews

Best For

  • Laser engraving businesses (CO2, fiber, diode lasers)
  • UV printing businesses
  • Sublimation printing businesses
  • Personalized gift makers who want professional mockups
  • Businesses where product accuracy is critical
  • Etsy sellers, e-commerce stores, and print-on-demand businesses

Example Use Cases

  • Engraved wooden products (chopping boards, plaques, boxes, coasters)
  • Engraved slate products (house signs, coasters, photo frames)
  • Engraved glassware (wine glasses, beer mugs, mirrors)
  • UV-printed products (phone cases, wooden signs, ceramic tiles)
  • Sublimation products (mugs, mouse pads, photo panels)
  • Any personalized product where material texture affects the final look

3.4 Feature Comparison Table

3.5 How to Choose the Right Plan

Choose Standard Plan If:

  • You're just starting out and want to test the plugin
  • Your products don't require engraving or special print effects
  • You sell digital products or simple printed items
  • You need basic mockup generation without realistic material effects
  • Budget is a primary concern
  • You plan to upgrade later as your business grows

Choose Pro Plan If:

  • You create engraved products (laser, rotary, etc.)
  • You use UV printing or sublimation printing
  • You want mockups that match your actual finished products
  • Customer trust and accurate product representation are important
  • You want to reduce returns and increase customer satisfaction
  • You're serious about professional-quality product listings
  • You sell on Etsy, Shopify, or other platforms where mockup quality matters

Decision Framework

Ask yourself:

  1. What production method do I use?

    • Laser engraving, rotary engraving → Pro
    • UV printing, sublimation → Pro
    • Digital printing, screen printing → Standard (or Pro for advanced effects)
  2. How important is mockup accuracy?

    • Critical (Etsy, e-commerce, high-value products) → Pro
    • Less critical (testing, internal use) → Standard
  3. What's my budget?

    • Tight budget, just starting → Standard (upgrade later)
    • Ready to invest in quality → Pro
  4. What do my competitors use?

    • Generic mockups → Pro gives you a competitive edge
    • Professional mockups → Pro keeps you competitive

Is there a limit to how many mockups I can create?

What happens to my mockups if I cancel my subscription?

Understanding Processing Types (Pro Feature)

What Are Processing Types?

Processing Types are the realistic effects applied to your designs to simulate how they'll look on different materials and with different production methods.

  • Standard Plan: In the Processing Types drop down menu, you will only be able to select No Effects (Design Placement Only)
  • Pro Plan: All Processing Types are unlocked. You can select any engraving or print effect to match your production method.

Available Processing Types (Pro Only)

Engraving Effects:

  • Wood Engraving (multiple settings for different depths and burn intensities)
  • Slate Engraving (etched stone effects with varying depths)
  • Glass Engraving (frosted glass effects with highlights)
  • Additional substrates (check plugin for full list)

Print Effects:

  • UV Print on White (vibrant colors on white substrates)
  • UV Print on Wood 1 (lighter wood tones)
  • UV Print on Wood 2 (darker wood tones)
  • Sublimation (color transfer effects with high vibrancy)
  • Additional print methods (check plugin for full list)

No Processing: Available on both Standard and Pro plans. Places designs flat without any effects.

How Processing Types Work

  • Select your PSD templates and PNG designs
  • Choose the Processing Type that matches your production method
  • The plugin applies realistic effects automatically
  • Output mockups show exactly how the finished product will look

💡 Pro Tip: Processing Types are numbered (e.g., Wood Engraving 1, 2, 3) because every laser or printer has different settings. Test multiple options to find which best matches your actual equipment output and substrate combination.
